Python Charmers
Python, data science and programming
Python training from first principles through to advanced work: the language itself, data analysis with pandas and Polars, testing, automation, and SQL. Courses run for newcomers to programming and for experienced developers moving to Python.
AI Charmers
AI and machine learning
Technical AI and machine learning training for the people who build the systems: machine learning foundations, deep learning with PyTorch, large language models, and the engineering that keeps a model working once it is in production.
Custom and Specialised Training
Most of our work is training built for one organisation. We start from what your team already knows and what they need to do, then design a course around it, using your data and your problems where that helps.
We also teach specialised topics that fall outside our scheduled courses. If a subject sits between our two brands, or spans both, talk to us and we will tell you plainly whether we can teach it well.
Where a course needs groundwork first, we take on consulting to develop the material and understand the systems it has to cover.
Who We Are
Specialist technical training since 2009
Charmers Group is an Australian company with offices in Melbourne and Singapore. We run two training brands: Python Charmers and AI Charmers.
Since 2010 we have delivered over 700 courses to more than 7,000 people in 40 cities. We ask everyone for feedback afterwards; of the 1,036 responses so far, 98% would recommend us and 93% would come back for more training.
Our trainers are working practitioners with deep roots in the open source community. They teach the tools they use, and they are what participants rate most highly: 99.5% agree their trainer had a firm grasp of the content.
Courses are hands-on and taught in small groups. Participants write code from the first session and leave with work they understand.
